Trusting SSL for integrations

How to install a trusted CA certificate to use when interacting with integrations

If you want to use a self-hosted integration (e.g. Jira) with BugSnag On-premise which uses an SSL certificate signed by a Certificate Authority (CA) unknown to BugSnag, you will get a certificate error unless you add the CA certificate:

  1. Obtain the public certificate of your CA in PEM format.
  2. Reconfigure BugSnag On-premise.
  3. Paste the CA’s certificate into the “Trusted CA SSL certificates” box. Adding trusted CA certificates
  4. Follow the instructions to deploy the updated configuration.
